In Lean Mean Thirteen by Stephanie Plum, I choose this quote.
Q- "The Diggerys were like feral cats. They scattered into the woods behind their home the minute a car stopped in the driveway."
Q- One of the main questions I have for this quote was, why do they hide all the time? I mean I know they are always getting arrested, but they must be doing something way worse then what everyone else thinks they are doing. Because they tell you that they are arrested because they get drunk and disrupt things. But if they all HIDE, then it must be something worse, right?
C- I just liked this quote because it sounded funny to me and i really liked the authors use of the metaphor. At least I think it is a metaphor, or maybe a simile. And it left kind of a cliff hanger as to whether or not there is more to the Diggerys or not.
